Day 1: Dar es Salaam/ Selous Game Reserve
In the morning at 0800hrs pick up from your hotel in Dar or Dar es Salaam International Airport and travel to Selous game Reserve, where you will arrive in the camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon boat excursion on the Rufiji River sporting large floating bodies of Hippos and or Crocs include many bird’s species. Dinner and overnight will be at Selous Hippo Camp
Day 2: Walking & Game drive in Selous
Tour of the Selous Game Reserve. To do; walking trip in the wilderness accompanied by an armed ranger guide to get closer to the animals the most exciting experience, unique in Tanzania.You will have picnic lunch in the bush and there after proceed with drive in the biggest and more fascinating reserve of Africa. Dinner and overnight will be at Selous Hippo Camp.
Day 3: Full day in Selous Game Reserve
Morning after breakfast, full day game viewing drive in the reserve. Selous is a home to large population of elephant, big number of buffalo and wild dog. Other species commonly seen are lion, bushbuck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, Kudus and Crocodile. The isolation of the area is accentuated by the Rufiji River system; East Africa’s largest. Its massive tributaries, the Great Ruaha, Kilombero and Luwegu, flow through the centre of the reserve. Although opened in 1905, Selous has remained one of the least known reserves. Dinner and overnight will be at Selous Hippo Camp.
Day 4: Transfer to Morogoro Town
Morning after breakfast game drive en route to Morogoro Town, the journey is the most amazing and truly wild and untouched areas of Tanzania. The drive will take you up into the Uluguru Mountains across rivers and past small local villages and farms. The drive is tiring but possibly the most rewarding and adventurous on the southern circuit. Dinner and overnight will be at Motel Oasis.
Day 5: Morogoro/Ruaha National Park
After breakfast checks out and launches the journey to Ruaha with lunch in Iringa Town, continue to National Park where you will arrive in the afternoon. Evening short game drives in the park or relaxation at leisure at Msembe Bandas.
Day 6& 7: Game drives in Ruaha National Park
Game, drives in Ruaha National Park, look for Roan and Sable antelope, Hippo Crocodile, waterbuck, Reedbuck and Buffalo venture to the rivers edge to drink, attracting the attention of Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Wild dog and jackal and many more antelopes include Dik dik and Walking in the wilderness.There are many birds in the park include Eurasia migrants that Comes to visit the park twice a year. Dinner and overnight will be at Msembe Bandas.
Day 8: Ruaha – Udzungwa Mountains National Park
After breakfast, depart to Udzungwa Mountains National Park with packed lunch and game viewing on the way. You will arrive in the early afternoon followed by relaxation at leisure at Twiga Resort.
Day 9: Wonderful Walking in Udzungwa Park
After breakfast, start walking in this beautiful Park enjoying and experience the stunning natural beauty of the park. Picnic lunch in the bush then proceed exploring the area wonderful Sanje waterfall endemic Red Colobus Monkey and beautiful scenery, evening experience the Sun Set before return to the Resort for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Udzungwa/Mikumi National Park
Morning after breakfast, departs to Mikumi National Park followed by game drives in the park , animals commonly found Include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and elephants. Wild dog can be seen in packs here. Dinner and overnight will be at the Tan Swiss Motel.
Day 11: Mikumi/Dar es Salaam
Morning after breakfast, game drive en route back to Dar es Salaam, where you will arrive late afternoon and drop off at the hotel or airport.
