Day 1: Londorossi Gate (2,100m) to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,850m)

Start at Londorossi Gate, trek through dense rainforest, and camp at Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree Camp).
Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,850m) to Shira 2 Camp (3,850m)

Cross Shira Plateau, passing Shira 1 Camp, with views of Kibo Peak.
Day 3: Shira 2 Camp (3,850m) to Barranco Camp (3,976m) via Lava Tower (4,600m)

Hiking Time: 6-7 hours
Habitat: Alpine Desert
Climb Lava Tower for acclimatization, then descend to Barranco Camp.
Day 4: Barranco Camp (3,976m) to Karanga Camp (4,035m)

Climb Barranco Wall and continue to Karanga Camp.
Day 5: Karanga Camp (4,035m) to Barafu Camp (4,673m)

Midnight summit attempt, reach Uhuru Peak for sunrise, descend to Mweka Camp.

Final descent through rainforest, receive summit certificate at Mweka Gate, transfer back to Moshi or Arusha.
