1-Day Serengeti Safari Itinerary
Duration: Full Day (12–14 hours)
06:00 – 07:00: Pickup from your lodge or hotel in Arusha, Karatu, or nearby areas. Begin the scenic drive to Serengeti National Park.
08:00 – 09:00: Enter Serengeti National Park via the main gate and meet your professional guide. Begin your game drive.
09:00 – 12:30: Explore central Serengeti plains. Spot the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos—and other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.
12:30 – 13:30: Picnic lunch at a scenic location within the park, surrounded by wildlife and open plains.
13:30 – 16:30: Continue game drive through different habitats: open savannahs, kopjes, and riverine areas. Take plenty of photos and enjoy birdwatching opportunities.
16:30 – 18:00: Exit the park and begin the drive back to your lodge or hotel.
